Downtown San Anselmo

San Anselmo is well known for its antiques and arts. The annual town-wide antique sale has been voted “Best in California.” Both residents and folks from other areas turn out for the event. San Anselmo also has a popular art and design festival each year.

The town was originally a stop on the old rail line. The influence of the depot can be seen in a kids’ park at the town center.

Other parks in the city house sports fields and baseball diamonds, historical attractions and relatively undeveloped land for hiking. This mix of outdoor activities, combined with the bustling downtown, creates a great community atmosphere.

Nearby you’ll have access to fantastic hiking, as well as any outdoor pursuit you enjoy. Not only that, living in San Anselmo puts you 25 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge and all that San Francisco has to offer.
